I want to focus on language acquisition as much as possible while I am in Guatemala, which is why I enrolled in the ICA Language School. The School has been teaching since 1976 and is featured in several guidebooks, which to me sounds less sketchy and more accountable. Also, 20% of the tuition goes directly to their non-profit organization ICAmigos. It is important to me to not take advantage of the people I encounter in Guatemala and that means supporting fair trade and non-profits as much as I can.
